NATIVE AMERICAN MADE

Awareness

New Trail of Tears

Awareness

Alaskan Natives, American Indians, and Native Hawaiians total only an estimated 10.4 Million, which is Less than five percent (<5%) of the total US population in 2020. All suffer from extraordinary chronic pre-mature mortality.

American Indians, as a subgroup, have suffered the most with an estimated current population of only 2.71 Million in 2020.

Today, we as the First People may have close to eighty percent (+/-80%) of our population living off-reservation, now within urban environments.

It is evident Native Americans suffer from extraordinary chronic pre-mature mortality because we as a first people have lost our self-sustaining ways.

History

New Trail of Tears

Awareness

Native People lived in the America's for centuries and numbered in the ten's of millions prior to the arrivals of the western settlers.

The Native People had mastered their environment through shared knowledge, traditions, and trade. It is estimated that the North American Native Population exceeded 30 million.

Complex market economies were created and sustained via trade routes that spanned from the Canadian Rockies to the Inca Trails, and from the Pacific to the Atlantic, including the deserts and mountains between.

New Trail of Tears

Inherited Mortality

The last 150 years of survival has evidenced our new trail of tears.

Relocation and urbanization has further fragmented our sustainable culture and traditional identity.

Currently, the seventh generation is threatened with loss of knowledge and now inherited early mortality.

A Long Walk in Socialism

Inherited Mortality

Inherited Mortality

Inherited Mortality

Health issues have been exacerbated by numerous years of government subsidized foods.

Our subsequent dependency has resulted in a chronically worsening diet affecting us physically, emotionally and mentally.

Early Mortality

Inherited Mortality

Early Mortality

Native American People suffer from the highest per capita population percentages in multiple chronic illnesses.

Chronic Illnesses led by hypertension has resulted in our early mortality through coronary disease, diabetes, sepsis, and heart failure.

These Chronic Illnesses have and continue to threaten our population.

A New Path

Inherited Mortality

Early Mortality

Today, Urgency is needed.

There is a resurgence in awareness by our youth and tribal leaders who support, listen and agree with a new path.

This new path is now showing evidence in various unique programs that touch our spiritual, physical, and mental health.

This reconnection will restore the lost identity and personal dignity to our first people and be an inspiration to all American people.
